Patterned Clothes introduces the traditional culture of minority clothes in Guizhou. This book was participated in the project of the National Traditional Culture Research in 2015-2016, and I cooperated with my professor to design the whole book, including cover, layout, illustration, printing and binding process, etc. I did a field trip for a month to took photos and prepare content for this project. During my filed trip, I visited some local museums, watched local dance show and also talked to the local people as well as collecting patterns of local batik, embroideries and luxuriant silver. I designed this book with combining illustration, layout design and photography together to show the details of minority culture.

《纹案布衣》是一本介绍贵州苗族服饰文化的书，该书参与2015-2016年“中国传统文化项目”课题研究，并与导师合作进行整本书的设计，包括封面、版式、装帧、插图、印刷装订工艺等。在设计之前我在贵州做了为期一月的实地考察，参观了当地博物馆和欣赏当地歌舞，并搜集了很多图文资料作为素材（作品中多数图片是自己摄影，少数来源于网络）。我将繁琐的服饰转化为插图以便更好地体现服饰的细节和特点，图文并茂的排版、文字和页眉的设计、还有封面的刺绣工艺都为这个作品增添了细节，希望能够丰富阅读体验，增加阅读趣味性。
